2026 Events:
- January: Joy of Creative Engagement program taught at Wor-Wic Community College.
- February: Joy of Creative Engagement Program taught at Salisbury University. (*CEU Professional Development Training)
- March: Special JOCE Event for Family Caregivers at Lakeside at Mallard Landing (*Memory Care Unit)
- April: Founders of Stories Love Music will present Keynote at IHAS Conference in Ocean City, Maryland for In Home Health Community.
2025 Events:
- Lunch and Learn Presentation provided for Health Care Leaders and Administrators at Community Foundation of Eastern Shore (Salisbury, MD)
- Caregiver Symposium “De-Escalation Through Connection and Creativity” at Salisbury University’s Downtown Gallery, Salisbury, MD.
- Joy of Creative Engagement Program (Full Immersion) was delivered to staff at Tidal Health’s Alice B. Tawes Nursing and Rehabilitation Hospital. (Crisfield, MD.)
- Queen Anne’s County Area Agency on Aging hosted our program for Family and Professional caregivers.
- Stories Love Music Meets Lego Serious Play program at Country Meadows Senior Living in Hershey, PA
- Stories Love Music Meets Lego Serious Play program at River Oaks Day Center in Snow Hill, Maryland.
2024 Events:
The program training has been facilitated at the following locations:
- Commonwealth Senior Living in Salisbury Md. Staff trained on site.
- Lakeside at Mallard Landing in Salisbury, Md. Staff and family caregivers trained on site.
- Catered Living and Chesapeake Manor Assisted Living, Staff from these facilities were trained in Ocean Pines.
- Train the trainer program online. Stories Love Music began the process of training and certifing 7 new trainers to delivery the Joy of Creative Engagement program to caregivers.
- Creative Engagement Empowering Caregivers Symposium held at the OC Arts Center in Ocean City, Maryland for family and professional caregivers.
2023 Events:
- Beta Test Training of Curriculum Guide held for 5 new trainees.
2022 Events:
- In-person Caregiver programs held at The MAC Center in Salisbury, Maryland. ( for 20 participants)
2020 – 2021 Events:
- Pilot Study conducted at Deer’s Head Hospital with 12 Nurse Participants.
- Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the vulnerable populations we serve, all programs were held online via zoom. ( over 100 caregivers participating)
2019 Events:
- Sept. 11th-Gull Creek in Berlin, Maryland
- Sept. 27th-MAC Center in Salisbury, Maryland
- November 13th-Somerset County Commission on Aging Center in Westover, Maryland
2012- present:
- Stories Love Music Program for: Senior Citizens with Dementia and Alzheimer’s at MAC (Maintaining Active Citizens) Center in Maryland.
- Stories Love Music Program for: Senior Citizens at the Hurricane Sandy Relief Shelter at Armory Park Slope-Brooklyn. Part of the Music and Creativity program for shelter.
- Stories Love Music Program for: Village Care Elderly Facility in New York City for Seniors and Adults with mental disabilities and dementia.
- Stories Love Music Program: for Alzheimer’s Unit and Recreation Floor of Cobble Hill Health Center, Brooklyn.
- Stories Love Music Program: for Alzheimer’s Residents at 80th street Residence, New York City.
- Stories Love Music Program: for Professional Care Givers at Alzheimer’s Association NYC Chapter.
- Stories Love Music Program: for groups at Beginnings Day Program-Renewal Care NYC.
- Stories Love Music program: received grants from The Community Foundation in Maryland, to lead workshops for professional caregivers in December 2015 and May 2016.
- Stories Love Music Program: at Jewish Museum for Connect 2 Culture Series.
